About Miss Emrhein
This is my fifth year teaching at Wilson High School. I grew up in Lititz and graduated from Warwick High School. I went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Secondary Education with a major in English and a minor in Psychology. While at U of M, I was also a four-year letter winner on the Michigan Field Hockey team. I graduated this past summer from the University of Virginia with an M. Ed in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus in Instructional Technology.
Outside of the school day, I am an assistant coach for Wilson's high school field hockey team. I love working with the girls outside of the classroom setting and witnessing how athletics helps them develop into great young women.
My family and friends are an important part of my life, and I love spending time with them. I also enjoy being outside and being active. Some favorite activities are running, walking, biking, and kayaking. I love to travel, and my favorite place to visit is my family's cabin in the Pine Creek Valley. Of course, I also love to read! Lastly, I still enjoy competing year round in local adult field hockey leagues.
I am looking forward to the new and exciting experiences this school year will present, and I cannot wait to learn and grow with my colleagues and students.
